The €95 Million Floating Mansion Coming to Fort Lauderdale Boat Show 2026

With six decks, seven staterooms, a private owner’s deck and interiors inspired by the underwater world, the 209-foot explorer yacht SCOUT brings a new meaning to luxury living on the water.

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — As South Florida prepares for the 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, one extraordinary vessel is set to capture attention for its unusual combination of expedition engineering and residential-style luxury.

Listed for €95 million through Fraser Yachts, SCOUT is a 209-foot (63.72-meter) explorer superyacht built in 2019 by Dutch shipyard Royal Hakvoort. The vessel will be on display at the show from October 28 through November 1, 2026.

Designed inside and out by H2 Yacht Design, with naval architecture by Diana Yacht Design, SCOUT was conceived as a private residence capable of traveling around the world.

For South Florida’s luxury real estate audience, the result is a fascinating example of how high-end residential design can extend far beyond the shoreline.

A Floating Mansion With an Underwater-Inspired Interior

While SCOUT’s dark steel hull and industrial-inspired exterior suggest a serious expedition vessel, the interiors reveal a dramatically different atmosphere.

The yacht’s main salon features curved sofas arranged around a circular centerpiece, beneath an interactive ceiling screen capable of displaying immersive imagery, including underwater scenes.

The design creates an almost cinematic environment, where sophisticated finishes, sculptural furnishings and carefully integrated technology transform the space into something resembling a contemporary luxury residence.

Unlike conventional yacht interiors, SCOUT’s design embraces a distinctive visual identity inspired by the ocean itself.

A Private Owner’s Deck Above the Water

One of SCOUT’s most impressive residential features is its dedicated owner’s deck.

The owner’s stateroom includes a king-sized bed, two spacious wardrobe areas and separate bathrooms, one featuring a shower and the other a bathtub.

Both bathrooms provide direct access to the exterior deck, while an adjoining private library offers an additional retreat.

The yacht accommodates up to 16 guests across seven staterooms, supported by a crew of 16.

For those accustomed to Miami’s expansive waterfront estates and luxury penthouses, the arrangement offers a familiar emphasis on privacy, comfort and dedicated living spaces, with the added freedom of ocean travel.

An Observation Lounge With Panoramic Views

Positioned forward on the owner’s deck, SCOUT’s panoramic observation lounge provides sweeping views through windows on all sides.

The space can accommodate dining, cocktails or quiet relaxation while underway.

Its design reinforces one of the defining characteristics of luxury waterfront architecture: the relationship between interior living spaces and the surrounding environment.

On SCOUT, however, the scenery changes with every destination.

Six Decks of Luxury Amenities

Across six decks, SCOUT offers amenities that rival those of a private luxury resort.

The sundeck includes a dining area for 14 guests, multiple lounging spaces, a bar and a 10-person hot tub.

Sliding glass windbreaks, overhead heaters and awnings allow the outdoor areas to remain comfortable in varying weather conditions.

Closer to the water, the yacht’s expansive beach club features a fully equipped gym, sauna, massage room and dedicated dive center.

Guest elevators connect multiple decks, adding a level of convenience more commonly associated with large luxury residences.

Built to Explore Beyond Traditional Destinations

SCOUT’s residential comforts are matched by substantial expedition capabilities.

Its ice-class steel hull is designed for challenging cruising environments, while its touch-and-go helicopter deck provides additional accessibility.

Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, the yacht has a cruising speed of 12.5 knots and a maximum speed of 15.2 knots.

At an economical cruising speed of 10 knots, SCOUT offers a range of approximately 6,300 nautical miles, according to Fraser Yachts.

These capabilities distinguish SCOUT from conventional luxury yachts designed primarily for coastal cruising.

SCOUT at FLIBS 2026

SCOUT will be displayed at the 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, October 28–November 1, as part of Fraser Yachts’ presence at the event.

With its distinctive architecture, expedition capabilities and residential-inspired interiors, SCOUT represents a compelling intersection of luxury real estate, design and the global yachting lifestyle.

For South Florida, where waterfront living is a defining element of the luxury property market, the vessel offers another perspective on what a private residence can become.
