MIAMI — October 27, 2026 — Sandbox VR is expanding its presence in the Greater Miami area with a second location scheduled to open October 30 at The Falls, a 55-acre open-air shopping, dining and entertainment destination in South Miami-Dade.
According to an October 27 announcement from the company, the new venue will occupy more than 4,100 square feet at 8888 SW 136th Street, Unit 407A.
The location will be operated by Immersa Entertainment LLC, with Carolina Brost and William Santiago serving as franchise operators.
New Entertainment Venue at The Falls
The new Sandbox VR location will feature four private virtual reality rooms, known as holodecks, designed to accommodate groups of up to six guests.
The experience uses virtual reality headsets, haptic vests and motion-tracking technology, allowing participants to interact with one another within a shared digital environment.
Guests will also receive personalized highlight videos following their sessions, according to the company.
The opening introduces another entertainment operator to The Falls, which combines retail stores, restaurants and entertainment offerings within its 55-acre open-air property.
Sandbox VR Expands Its Global Footprint
Sandbox VR operates a combination of corporate-owned and franchised entertainment venues.
In its announcement, the company reported reaching 100 locations across five continents and 13 countries since its launch in 2016.
Sandbox VR also reported more than $300 million in cumulative sales and over six million tickets sold worldwide.
The company’s virtual reality experiences include Stranger Things: Catalyst, developed in collaboration with Netflix, and Age of Dinosaurs, created in partnership with the Natural History Museum of London and dinosaur experts.
The company develops both original and licensed virtual reality content for its locations.
Opening Scheduled for October 30
The Falls venue represents Sandbox VR’s second location in the Greater Miami area.
The new facility is scheduled to begin welcoming guests on Friday, October 30, 2026, according to the company’s announcement.
The opening adds a technology-based entertainment use to the shopping center’s existing mix of retail, dining and leisure offerings.
