No Vacancy 2026 to Bring Art Installations to 12 Miami Beach Hotels

The seventh edition of No Vacancy, Miami Beach will feature site-specific works by 12 artists at 12 hotels across the city from November 12 through December 19, 2026.

Organized by the City of Miami Beach with support from the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority and the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, the juried art competition invites the public to experience local hotels as art destinations.

This year’s call for artists received a record 228 applications. Participants were selected by a committee representing the city’s Art in Public Places Committee, Cultural Arts Council and the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority.

Each selected artist will receive a $10,000 honorarium to create an installation at an assigned hotel. Two additional awards totaling $35,000 will be presented: a $10,000 public prize supported by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau and a $25,000 juried prize selected by a panel of art professionals.
